Map of Military Institute of Geography
There are topographical maps of Poland published from 1919 to 1939 by Military Institute of Geography (WIG).
- Operations map 1:300 000 - M.278
Map was published from 1928-1932 in six colours.
- Review map 1:750 000 - M.279
Map was done from 1922 to 1934 on the basis of Ubersichtskarte von Mitteleuropa
- Tactical map 1:100 000 - M.280
In 1922 WIG prepared new map which can be divided into fourth types:br> multicouloured 1922-1926br> two-coulour 1926-1929br> two-coulour 1929-1931br> multicouloured 1931-1939
- Detailed map 1:25 000 - M.872
Works were started in 1927. Map contains: routes, estates, forests, meadows, marshlands, crops, rivers etc. Map was published from 1932 to 1939.
- Geological Atlas Of Galicya - M.227, M.228, M.250
Edition of first series of geological maps of Galicja. Atlas was published from 1887 to 1911. It consists of 25 issues with 99 maps sheets in scale 1:75 000. For each issue was prepared explanatory note.
- Geological Atlas of United States - M.859
Atlas was published by United States Geological Survey between 1894 and 1945. Atlas includes series of maps folios in scale 1:62 500 and 1:125 000. Each folios includes both topographic and geologic maps for each quad represented in that folios, as well as geologic reports with information on the geology and economic geology of this area.
